WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies are small text files containing a certain amount of information exchanged between a website and the user’s terminal (usually the browser). They are mainly used for the purpose of making websites work and operating more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the site itself. Cookies can be either session or persistent. Session cookies remain stored on the device for a short period of time and are deleted as soon as the user closes the browser. Their use is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to enable the safe and efficient exploration of the site. Persistent cookies, on the other hand, remain stored on the user’s device until a pre-set expiry date. These cookies, which are not deleted directly when the browser is closed, allow us to remember the choices made by the user on our website and to collect information about the pages visited by the user, the frequency with which the website is visited, and to identify the user’s navigation path, in order to improve the experience on this website. Finally, session or persistent cookies can be first-party or third-party, depending on whether the entity that installs the cookies on the user’s terminal is the same operator of the site that the user is visiting (in which case they are referred to as first-party cookies) or a different entity (in which case they are referred to as third-party cookies).

LIST OF COOKIES

Our website uses proprietary and third-party cookies. We classify these cookies into the following categories:

  • Necessary
Necessary cookies help make the website usable by enabling basic functions such as page navigation and access to secure areas. Without these cookies, the website cannot function properly. They are therefore essential for the proper use of the Website and do not require the user’s consent.
  • Preferences
These cookies allow the Site to store information that affects its behavior or appearance, such as the user’s preferred language or the geographical area in which they are located. They therefore improve the user experience by making the Site more personalized. The use of these cookies requires the user’s consent.
  • Statistics
Statistical cookies help website owners understand how visitors interact with the Website by collecting anonymous information. This information allows the structure, content, and navigation of the Website to be optimized, improving its performance. These cookies also require the user’s consent.
  • Marketing
Marketing cookies are used to track visitors across websites. The goal is to display relevant and engaging ads to individual users, making them more valuable to publishers and third-party advertisers. These cookies create a profile of the user based on their online activity in order to personalize the advertising displayed. Their use is subject to the user’s consent.

Below is a detailed list of the cookies we use on the website and the purposes for which we enable each cookie or tracking technology.

HOW TO VIEW AND CHANGE COOKIE SETTINGS AND CONSENT MANAGEMENT

When visiting the website for the first time, users can accept all cookies, continue with the default settings that only allow technical cookies necessary for the website to function, or select specific purposes or third parties of interest using the options available in the banner displayed upon access.

In all other cases, and on each subsequent visit to the site, the user can access the banner that allows them to deny or modify their consent to the use of unnecessary cookies via the link in the footer of each page, identified by a cookie icon.
